journal # 14 (The American family)

There are a lot of things that i see in the American families since i came here that i never saw in the families in my country. Most of the American families give their children freedom in talking or make their own dicision. They can left home when they enter 18 ,even girls ,and i think most of them do it. I saw some of the children here don't respect elder people enough even their teachers. For example, in my country when teacher came to the class all the student should stand up and it's a kind of respect for teacher but in the U.S student don't do.One thing that i love about the American families behavior it's a most of them teach their children to responsible for their own life and problems. I think this make children more stronger and experienced person in their own life when they will have a their own family.

Journal # 13 (my favourite holiday spot)

The north of Iran it's a place that i like to spend my holiday. This place has a beautiful jungles. The weather in this place is moist in most of season. Most of the day is raining. When i walk in the jungle i can't see the sky because the wings of trees are like a roof of house cover the view of the sky.I can smell the ground that got wet because of rain. The sounds of births that singing for each other diffuse in the jungle. The bush of the salmon berry from far it's like a bush of small red lowers. I really love this place and i wish i can go their now.

I love all season. Every season has a something that other season don't have. I love spring because first day of this season is our new year and we celebrate it. In spring weather is lovely and every where is green. I love summer because is a season that we can have a long vacation. Summer is hot season but this season is time to have fun in beach near our family or friends. I love fall, because the weather is not so hot or so cold. Fall is autumn and rainy season. But winter is special season for me. I love cold and snowy weather. However I don't see snow in here but it's cold.

A lot of peron is around me in my life. Every person influencedme in something.But one person that influenced me more than other,and this person is my best friend who has a 21 years old. She is a very kind person and friendly. She is so young but i think she has a more than 21 years old person's expirence. She underestood me better than any one. She always help when i have a problems.I always share my opinion with her. I admire her strong personality,and i like to have personality like her.

Success for every one is different.May be it happen in job,life or studied.Some people think success is to be famous or to be rich.Ithink success is not just about money or to be famous and every body knows you. Some people have nothing but they are successful in their ideal,because they got their goal. Success mean you reach your goal in your own way and it depends on the way the person considers. The word success is identified in many conceptual ways. Becoming successful is not easy if you don't understand what aspects you need to achieve a successful life.

journal #8 (9/11 )

I remember that day. It was 7 or 8 o'clock at night in Kuwait. I was in the hair salon with my sister. I was done and waiting my sister. Suddenly, music stooped on TV and shows airplane went toward Towns Towers than buildings drooped. Every body in salon stopped and watched TV. I'm felt bad as a human to saw other people died like this. It wasn't just a bad day for families who was had someone on those buildings. All people were sad for all guiltless people who died on that accident. I wish to never happen this kind of accident in any countries.

I don't remmember any day that the important peroson for me passaway. indeed,i don;t like to remmember bad day.I always try to forgot bad days.But i remmember the day my uncle passaway.It was 2 years ago on summer. I had never seen my father that much sad.I was sad too. Is hard to person to lose a person that important to person.

journal # 6 (The right age to married)

Some person is redy to get married at younger age but some of them is not redy. It's dipend on the person. Maybe some of them think if they don't married at younger age they never get married and other think if they get married at younger age maybe they can not have life responsibility with a partner. In my opinion, there is no specific age for married. I think when the person,man or woman, know most importenat thing in life with a partner and they ready for organize new family, it's time to get married. Sometimes 20 years old person knows more than 40 years old person about life.

journal # 5 (how has your life changed since you came to the U.S?)

My life has very changed since i came here. I should do every thing in home by my self and it's hard for me. Before my mother did every thing. I don't have any best friends yet,so it's hard for me to live here without any best friends.But i have a very good classmates from othar countries that help me to improve my English.

journal # 3 (Long weekend)

Last weekend was so hot. I didn't had any plan, but my sister was had a plan. She wanted to go to shopping, so my brother and I went with her to the shopping on Sunday. After shopping, we went to the Gladstones restaurant in Santa Monica for dinner. Weather was better at night. Then, we decided to go to watch a movie so; we called our friends to join us. After movie we came back home at 12:30, and I was so tired.
