I think this article it so helpful for students. This article mention the most important skills not just for students who in college, also the other people most to do these skills. If a person doesn't have any goal in their life they may feel straggle. Therefor, goal setting is one of the necessaries skills in our life. Also, time management is really help student to be organize and do every thing by schedule . However, I think time managing it's a little hard ,at list for me. Also, sometimes it's good for each student to be alone and take a rest without any stress about their problems at home or even about study.I think students by goal sitting , time management , and art of mastery can do better at college or university. These skills even can help them in their life.

These articles are so helpful for every international student who came to the U.S. Specialy for those of who don't have any information about American culture and precept. Because sometimes some of the international students getting in a big trouble when they do something ,which is out of the rules in the U.S. These articales mention some of the importent rules which are necessary to know as a person who live in the U.S. I just adjust in this place because I have been here almost 1 year and a half. However, I think still have to know many other things about culture and traditional things in the U.S. Also, ALP teacher really help me to get all of the information that I know now.Thank you all ALP teachers.

Journal # 29 (Essay)

Clothes Can Tell a lot about a Person

Clothes are so important for humans. It’s not just a cover for body, also it does can tell a lot about a person. We can realize personality of a person or which type of social group is this person from the clothes that each person wear. Also, we can sometimes comprehend the country or the religion of a person by clothes that a person wears.
First of all, Each person by wearing each type of clothes can show the personality of his or her self. Some people don’t know or don’t care about that and wear any thing they like. A person should wear a type of clothes that mach with her or his personality. For example, I know someone who has very good personality and she is so nice, but her clothes are totally different from her personality. She always wears clothes that show her personality like bad girls.

Second, the important thing that many of people can understand from clothes that each person wears is social group. Each person can tell others his or her social groups by clothes that he or she wears. For instance, if I see a person in the street that wear dry and scrappy clothes I can take a idea that this person is homeless , so it’s easy to find social group from clothes.

Next, from clothes that each person wear sometimes I can find which religions is this person or from which country is. For illustration, if I saw a women that wear scarf and her dress is long I can easily understand that she is a Muslim.
In conclusion, clothes can tell some important things that each person wants to know about others. I think people should care about the clothes that they wear, because sometimes other people think wrong from them.

Journal # 28 (Thanksgiving)

There are a lot of things which is God gave me and I should thanks God for all the good things that gave me. The most important things that I should thankful from God are the good health, the best family,friends ,and came to the U.S . First of all, I want to thanks God to gave me the good health because sometimes when I see a person that don't have a good health , I think by my self that God could made me like this person but God gave me the good health to study and work better to help the other people. Second, is the best family and friends that God gave me to be with me in the hard circumstances and help me when I have a problems because if I didn't have this family and friends maybe my life wasn't be like this.Finally, I want to thanks God to give me this chance to came to the U.S because I have a better opportunity to choose a good universities for study. In the end, I want to thanks all the ALP teachers and whose work in the ALP because I know that you works so hard to help us to improve our English. Thanks God for all the good things that you gave me and Happy Thanksgiving:)

journal # 27 (Persian Food)

From cultural aspect, food was considered to be an art providing enjoyment to both body and mind.Iranians refined the taste and flavor of food and how it is presented. The food that I want to give you recipe is the one of the popular food in Iran. The name of this food is "Khoresht Fesenjan" or "Fesenjan" only. "Khoresh" in Persian stands for a stew type of sauce. In below there is an ingredients of "fesenjan" and direction for how to cook it.

ingredients:
Chicken breast , 1-1.5 kgs
Ground walnuts, 500 grams
2-3 onions
3-4 bottles of pomegranate paste
5-6 spoons of Sugar
1/2 cup of cooking oil
1 spoon Salt
2 spoon Turmeric
1 spoon Black pepper
5 cups hot Water

Directions:
First of all, scorched Ground Walnuts about 15 minutes on the heat. After that, add 1 spoon of Turmeric and 5 cups of hot water. Turn heat high until boiling and the oil in walnuts comes out.
Then, add Pomegranate paste to the mix and turn heat down and let boil slowly for about 45 minutes. Slice onions thinly and fry it in the oil until slightly golden. Wash chicken pieces and add Black pepper, Turmeric, salt to the chicken and fry in onions until color changes. Add the chicken's without onions to the mix. The Khorest should be taken to cook long time enough so that the mix becomes quite thick. "Khoresht fesenjan" should be served with white rice.

Journal # 26 (Dead Language)

One of the languages which is extinct today is Jurchen language. The name Jurchen is came from Jusen which is mean unclear. This language was spoken by Tungus people who lived innortheast China.Their was so good in hunting and archery like a Mongols. Also, they named leaders of a political entity by Khan or Emperor like a mongols. This language was spoken in the begining of the 10th century until 1234.

Journal # 24 (BOO)

Many years ago there was a boy who name's was John. John always hang out with his friends until mid night. one night something very unusual happened to John. He just drove his friend to home at 2:30 AM and he wants to go to his home. He was drove near a big park that was in Sun street. Suddenly, he saw a little boy that sit under light near street. John stopped a car and went toward a boy that wear red hat and put his head in his nis and crying. John asked a boy what happened to him. A boy said to John he was playing with his friends in this park suddenly he lost his friends and didn't found them. John asked a boy if he know the address of their home. A little boy shows John a pice of paper and told John his mam put this address always in his pans packet. John said to boy he will drove him to his home. A little boy sit in the back sit of John's car. His home wasn't to far. After 10 min they arrived the street that little boy house was there. John said " OK, which one is your home?. A little boy with a big smile on his face that showes his happens said" this one with a green door" and jumped out of car and went toward the house. He opened the door and went inside. John smiled and land from car to close the back sit door,but he saw a boy forgot to toke his red hat. John toke a hat and went toward a green door.He push a door bell after the moment a old woman opened the door.John said "hi I'm just want to give you this hat that your grandchild forgot in my car. The old woman with wonder looked at the hat and said to John "Where did you find this hat? John said"I didn't found this i found your grandchild was lost and i drove him here but he forget to take his hat" . The old woman said to John" This hat was for my son ,his father was gave to him for his 10 birthday,the day of his birthday he went to play with his friends in the park that is near here,but he got lost and never came back". John was shocked and sit in his car and drives to home.
